Welcome to L'Oasis! When we first considered looking for a property in Brittany, it was to be a bolt-hole for us to escape to; a place we could relax in, be refreshed and restored. Then we discovered L'Oasis, nestled in a hamlet of farmhouses called Le Désert, minutes away from the pretty market town of Mauron in Central Brittany and just over an hour's drive from the ferry port of St Malo.
Our vision is that you should be able to share in the peace and tranquillity it offers and come away refreshed and restored. It is an old house with simple features, surrounded by farmland and full of rustic Breton charm, so why not make it your home for a week or two?
The flat weekly rate of £250 which started in 2010 will rise to £275 for the 2012 season to cover increasing local costs, but guests booking a two week stay will only need to pay £525 - see the tariffs page for more details.
